Diwali will be celebrated on Sunday 7th November in the temple. Diwali commemorates Lord Rama’s triumphant return to the city of Ayodhya after 14 years of exile and after a heroic rescue of his wife Sita, an incarnation of the Goddess Laxmi. Celebrations are from 05:00 PM to 06:30 PM that will include bhajan kirtan, fireworks and preeti bhojan will be served. Please come and join us with your family in the celebration.
Karva Chauth will be celebrated in the temple on Sunday 24th October. Its a one day festival celebrated annually by married Hindu women in which they observe a fast from sunrise to moonrise and pray for the well being and longevity of their husbands. Katha will be performed by our pandit ji between 03:30 PM to 07:30 PM. Temple will be open from 09:00 AM to 07:30 PM.
Durga Ashtami celebrates the victory of Goddess Durga over the evil demon Mahishasura. This auspicious festival will be celebrated on Wednesday 13th October in the temple. This year Maharshivratri is on Thursday 11th March 2021. Please come and celebrate the auspicious day with us. Mandir is open from 9am to 6pm for Darshan ONLY. Devotees will not be allowed to pour water on the Shivling. We are holding two Abhishekams in the evening and Shiv Katha by Shri Ashutoshji Maharaj. Shiv Katha 630pm to 7pm. First Abhishekam 7pm to 8pm, Shiv Katha continues 8pm to 10pm. Second Abhishekam 10pm to 11pm (VIA ZOOM) If you want to become a Yajman for the Abhishekam then please donate £31 to the mandir.
